Meanwhile a report at TownHall says that "Homeschooling Rates Are Rising":
Report on Homeschooling

Homeschoolers, your kitchen door is "their" (UNESCO'S) last stop! Google Home Schooling/ European Union/ Germany for an eye opener!

Are homeschoolers ready to disassociate themselves from any tax-funded virtual charter schools and/or tax-supported public education services such as sports, music, art, tutoring, computers, use of school buses, etc?

Remember what former U.S. Education Secretary William Bennett once told homeschoolers:

HOMESCHOOLERS' QUESTION:
What test (assessment)will their children have to take if they belong to his federally-funded virtual (computer-assisted-instruction) charter school?

ANSWER:
The federally-funded National Assessment [which contains at least 60% politically correct questions! Common Core Assessment is just the new and IMPROVED (!) NAEP assessment, ed.]
And what about credentials to get into college?

The homeschoolers don't get it. What they should have done is homeschool and NOT report to the district. The majority of homeschooler's children take the assessment tests.

Many of the homeschooling "support groups" rely on Michael Farris who headed Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA).

Oh, I forgot to mention that Farris is the head of the Convention of the States movement (Con Con)..

Most parents are clueless regarding a Con Con. What they do know about a Con Con is from Farris.

BEWARE ESPECIALLY OF A CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION  WHICH COULD MAKE ANY FREEDOMS, INCLUDING HOME SCHOOLING,  MOOT.

Farris is coming into Maine December 10 to enlist support from good Mainers for a Con Con.  See promotional material below.

Maybe Farris can manage to insert some homeschool protections into the text of whatever new Constitution we end up with?

Don't hold your breath.
